ANTHOLOGY

FED-UP OF ILLUSORY LIFE

O what could be the blaze of that light
almighty brilliant, zealous and right
O, teacher, kindly lend me those rays
where liberation arises from ambiguous ways

and always , i feel this empty life
as a magic work, or an illusion of strife
O, you now told me that we're spirits nice
that seldom perish when pierced by knife

which nowhere born, and never to die
that goes and goes though millions lie
GOD, GOD, and there's no other cry
thats the goal for every other try

i rest there upon that single truth
now serene and pure is that old little myth
August, ascetic now is my reign
i touch with my hand that deity i had seen

LEARNING FROM MISTAKES

I tried, toiled, crawled and ran straight
some good came my way, some happiness made me wait
but that the goal's far, from a distance i saw
so blew the bugle again, for bitter is a flaw
upon tumbling down, man always rises to move
here every mistake gives away a clue
when easy winning comes, man foolishly flies
and crashes against truth, for blinded were his eyes
a dared attempt now sets him to fly
a mistake's advice, so he'll surely soar high
Truth came to those,
who all their odds fought
mistakes you are great teachers,
everything you have taught

THE INTRODUCTION TO TRUTH

real things, real truth, real life
is free and away from all strife
neither does exist the tingling word I
nor does the laze or the desire's cry

Seldom do we hear the word status
nor prestige stands as an impetus
life here's selfless, free from all scars
the omnipresent verity beyond the stars

once you taste this creamy brim of truth
the bliss behind all this holy mirth
you'll soar and soar and seldom see low
with that almighty LORD you are already in love

Sushant Kulkarni

INSIDE TRUTH

there at that place, there's no you and me
things are not counted as one two and three
you are me and i am you
unity absolute, and its simply true

the number one is all that exists
other numbers are all illusory and blemish
don't touch the numbers two and three
you'll fall in a dungeon, how'll you be free?

enjoy unity and a dazzle will come
with pompous march, like the beats of a drum
beat after beat it'll march on and on
with miseries left behind, far you'll have gone

Sushant Kulkarni

TRUE IDENTITY THERE

no identities are nurtured there
titles and coronets are found nowhere
you aren't measured on worldly machine
no subjects then, no king and queen

Muse, He is, that divine may-pole
like streamers on it, stream our souls
always we've been fluttering in merry
in timeless bliss so forget all flurry

Sushant Kulkarni

INTRODUCTION TO FREEDOM

and there i utter, be selfless
attachments none, be selfless
don't try to win, nor to lose
nor dream of any glory to ooze

nor dream of victory, or good fate
do your duty, just don't wait
stop dreaming to start your run
Bliss, Bliss its real fun

hey, is it not about dream true?
as, bowers where climbers of light grew
why can't we dream if this is the case
for every great thing, it's the base

yes O hero, I tell to thee
dream it big to become free
but dream not small, and seek for rest
aim at the sun and dream the biggest

the biggest dream is that dream
where jealousy and comparison are not seen
dream not about silly power
dream the almighty, the emperor

if thats the dream, thats the dream
truth flows to you like brooks and stream
fall in love with the impossible
eternal truth is then visible

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA -- the way I see him

Smart, handsome, deep, subtle, vast, fine, life, soul, divinity, freedom, beauty, care, leader, Guru, everything, completeness, wonder, supernatural, effulgent, radiating, king, emperor, tall, high, top, triumphant, romantic, lovely, mesmerising, perfect, powerful, bright, sincere, courteous, Godly, and what not........ all these are the ripened thoughts that come to our mind at the very idea of this magnanimous hero.

What a personality he had, infact eternally, it is simply the hugest possible perfection. All the time, everyplace at every instant- no matter what situation of life it is, the slightest idea of his name and countenence binds us to the most perfect way to sort out our odds, and above and beyond our wits, his truthful example makes us blossom that inner smile within us, that smile which gives us all-a feeling of being something almighty, someone divine, someone beyond oursilly castles of worldly analysis...
To dare to talk of what he did is just like making a futile attempt to count the number of particles of dust on earth. Putting his work into a few words: he has done something little, which stands as a beacon, a guiding light at each and every point of time in our day to day lives. In him you find love, love of a brother, a teacher, a friend, a mother, a sister and that of the Heavenly Father himself. Can you bind this omnipresent spirit in this little fair called "world"..? He is a man above and beyond the universe! His eyes so tender, so gentle, that they can swallow the three worlds within them. A bliss that his face holds is something so much supernatural and lovely. Those gem like eyes hold the spark of that channelised gigantic fire of wisdom that burnt within him. The eyes that could see God and show to us God Himself. Whenever i look at his eyes, i forget this world, i forget everything, and when my stare goes on for sometime, i can feel him enter me through my eyes and feel that divine love, the love which makes me surrender everything i possess to that divine will, that holy law, and then with tears in my eyes i say, 'O my big brother, kindly lead me towards the light, ever lit-up, and eternally glowing to vanquish all the darkness within me even in the creepiest of its corners."
His shoulders so broad and warm; they can forgive the greatest of your sins and gear you up to cheerfully begin your new walk, turning over a new leaf in that divine grace of truth. O Brother! take me into your arms and forgive my sins. Forgive me for the jumble of life i have made. Forgive me for the trash of beauty i have always produced, forgive me for bringing tears into these holy eyes God gave me, forgive me for bringing the feelings of illusion and desire into this free spirit that i have always been, forgive me for bringing frown over my face, this so-called image of God, forgive me for having once thought of myself as weak, forgive me for not having been able to love life to the fullest, forgive me for not having soon realised the ONE truth that is everything and that is the divine unity with GOD. His arms so beautiful, that their very touch can lead us towards mukti, thise fingers so powerful that once you catch hold of them with fullest faith, they will embark you into a journey whose destination is self-realisation, and the palm if once pats your back, you become the most righteous creature in all the three worlds.
Hey hero, you are the ultimate manifestation of perfection. All the stars sing your name with merry, eternally, on and on. His feet, O those lovely feet, i'd love to lay my head down there on those lotus feet, forever; for is there any great gift i'd ever seek for? No gift whatsoever. A million salutes to the beautiful feet of this heroic spirit. The longer i stare at him, the stronger a smile emanates from the countenance of this young man. Just look at him, you feel the double double double beats of triumphant drums, echoing in eternity. I can't do anything but salute him forever. I see him everywhere, his gospels utter from every hustle-bustle of this world, his utterances shining bright at everyplace of worship, his beauty evident from everyother wonderful landscape, his highness singing aloud from top of those lovely mountains, his effect of his vibrant voice still ringing into my ears, the celebration of his presence working its way, at each place, everywhere i go.
The more i describe his pomp and glory, the less it'd be. So i'd better refrain my thoughts here for it is always true that "love never ends". So let me gear myself up for my next words of praise which issue out of my pen ever often.............

Satyam Shivam Sundaram .... "Truth is divinity and it is alone beautiful"
